VICE PRES. HARRIS ANNOUNCED $M 53 IN HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE TO UKRAINE

The U.S Vice President Today in Warsaw, Vice President Harris announced nearly $53 million in new humanitarian assistance to support innocent civilians displaced by Russia’s unjustified invasion of Ukraine.
« The United States continues to stand with the people of Ukraine and will continue to work to meet their immediate needs and save lives. » V.President harris said and she emphasized the American support to Ukraine « We'll do everything together in solidarity to support what is necessary for the humanitarian and security needs of the Ukrainian people. They have shown extraordinary courage and skill and their willingness and, yes, ability to fight against Putin's war and Russia's aggression
Vice President Harris also praised the supportive role of Poland, in welcoming the Ukrainian refugees, since the conflict started last 24th February « The world has been watching your leadership, and we’ve witnessed extraordinary acts of generosity and kindness. We have seen ordinary people doing extraordinary things to support the dignity and well-being of perfect strangers. On behalf of the United States, I want to express my thanks for what you do every day. » Vice President Harris, said

Vice President Kamala Harris said also that « the U.S.A commitment to Article 5, is Iron -Clad », as the war in Ukraine is evolving, under an uncanny situation, combining the ongoing of bombings in Ukraine, the since Russia invade Ukraine on 24th of February 22, and rounds of negotiations between the two countries, Russia and Ukraine. Meanwhile, and simultaneously, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Seguey Lavrov, was having a meeting of « mediation » via his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba and delegation of Turkey, in Antalya, in order to appease the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. MFA Kuleba said « Ukraine will not surrender », while forth Russian side, no perspective of a ceasefire was reached. Another important meeting, was held at the same time, in Versailles France, gathering the 27, EU leaders for a two days informal Summit, in Versailles, under the rotative French Chair of European Union.
