THE U.S PRESIDENT BIDEN DISCUSS FOR A BUILDING BACK BETTER AFTER COVID-19 -----------------------------
« President Biden will be tackling every issue, i just walked through, but they are certain things he’s really going to focus on, and I just want to give you an example, it’s called the Global Minimal Tax, which might sound a little abstract, but it really matters for the lives of working people and families in the United States. Right ow we have basically a race to the bottom where different countries around the world cut their corporate tax rates, sometimes to zero and then corporations move their taxable income to those countries, so they don’t have to pay taxes, in some cases, any taxes. And that means that the public purse of the United states ended up with less money to invest in education, or healthcare or other things, that make people’s lives better. « What President Biden did with his whole team is rally the world for the first time to create a global minimum tax, at least 15%, so that there’s not this race to the bottom, there’s a level playing field. And tax dollars the corporations owe actually get paid. » Jack Sullivan, National Security Advisor Said. Source: White House
